The CUFS system will be unavailable during the vulnerable period of 6am to 9am on Tuesday 24th September. This time will be used for system maintenance.

COGNOS will be unavailable on Wednesday 25th September until approx. 14:00. This time wil be used to switch hardware.

Cognos Reports
The Cognos report GL: Financial Summary, which can be found in your Departmental (Shared) Reports folder, has been updated:
- The Hide Memorandum Fields layout option will no longer hide the Revaluations in Year field.
The Cognos report GL: Journal Transactions, which can be found in your Departmental (Shared) Reports folder, has been updated:
- A new Batch or Journal name option will allow you to only show journals where the Batch or Journal name contain the entered text (not case sensitive), helping to search for a specific journal.

Financial Users Group - Wednesday 25th September 9.30am
The next meeting of the Financial Users Group will be held in the Sainsbury Laboratory Lecture Theatre on Wednesday 25th September 9.30am to 11am. The agenda for the meeting can be found here. CUFS Downtime from 5pm Friday 27th September to Monday 30th September 2019
As announced previously at the Financial User Group meetings a project is nearing completion to implement the latest critical and security patches. The project will complete with CUFS downtime and the system will be unavailable from 5pm Friday 27th September to Monday 30th September 2019. Access will be restored on the morning of Monday 30th September.
Further communications will be issued later in the week.

Getting Started in UFS Manual
This manual for new UFS users (or those needing a refresher) has been updated and renamed. It replaces the introduction to UFS manual. The material covers a number of general points that are applicable across many UFS modules, such as Personal Profiles, Jargon Busting, Using the Navigator.
