Barclays Bank, Cherry Hinton Road Branch Closure

We have recently been advised that the Cherry Hinton Road branch of Barclays Bank will be closing permanently from Friday 27th November 2020.

The Sidney Street branch, with our own dedicated cashier, remains open and is the preferred branch to use:

  • Sidney Street – 9am-3pm Monday-Friday except Wednesday (10am-3pm).
Where Sidney Street is not the most convenient alternative, other branches that are still open are as follows:

  • Chesterton Road – 9am-4pm Monday-Friday except Wednesday (10am-4pm). The counter closes 2pm daily at this branch.
  • Addenbrookes – 9am-4.30pm Monday to Friday except Wednesday (10am-4.30pm. The counter closes 4pm daily at this branch.
The St Andrews Street branch is open, but as they state the counter is currently closed we recommend using the Sidney Street branch. Outside of Cambridge, other branches such as St. Ives or Haverhill can also be used if necessary.

Opening hours have been subject to change ever since the outbreak of COVID-19, please check the branch finder on Barclays website (https://www.barclays.co.uk/branch-finder/) for the most up to date information before visiting.

If you have any comments regarding the service you receive at any Barclays Branch, please do let me know.
