Quick Tip – Excel, using Sum function when data is hidden

The inbuilt sum functions in Excel don't account for hidden columns and rows. The subtotal option will ignore cells which are filtered out but not those which are hidden. However, it is possible to add in an extra function which will do this for us. Watch video here (1m33s). For the code, click here.
