Cognos upgrade (30th June) – please delete saved reports not needed

As announced in last week’s Bulletin, Cognos is being upgraded on Wednesday 30th June and will not be available to users between 8am and 4pm on that day. The new version has a different look and feel. However, the reports themselves and how you run them has not changed. Any reports and schedules that users have saved will be migrated over.
In order to make the migration as smooth as possible please could you delete any saved reports or queries that are no longer used prior to the 30th. As a separate exercise, the FSG team will contact all users that have reports scheduled to run during the downtime on the 30th.  Guidance on how to delete saved reports and disable or delete schedules is available here.
If you have any questions about the upgrade please contact the Finance Systems Group at
