Accessing CUFS - General Exception Error
From 28th June only Java versions 1.8.0_241 and above will be able to access CUFS
The next update to Java minimum version will be after year end to avoid disruption during the busy period.
Please check your Java version if you receive the General Exception error below:

Cambridge University Endowment Fund – Notification of Revaluation & Purchases & Sales
Revaluation as at 31 March 2021
Please note that the Cambridge University Endowment Fund has been revalued as at 31 March 2021.
CUFS has been updated to reflect the new valuation in the June 2021 accounting period. The new Unit value is £65.70 (rounded). The unit value at the end of the previous quarter was £63.08 (rounded) which represents an increase in value of 4.15%.
Purchases & Sales March 2021
Unit purchases and sales as at 31 March 2021 have also be processed within the CUFS June 2021 accounting period. Contract Notes for purchases & sales will be despatched in due course.
Purchases & Sales June 2021
The deadline for unit purchases and sales for June has now passed. The entries for the revaluation, purchases and sales will be passed in CUFS by the end of September 2021.
Quarter 1 21/22
The deadline for the requests to be received is the 17th September 2021.

Forthcoming Courses (via Teams)
Year end for New Users Q&A session, Wed 14 July
This Teams session, which needs to be booked, completes the series of presentations that cover the year end processes in more detail than the main general year end presentation. Module experts will be available to answer any queries you may have after viewing the presentations. The individual videos will be available from 7 July. Please refer to the year-end instruction webpage to view. Apart from working through the applicable module(s), it is recommended that you also view the main presentation before the Q&A session.

Assistant Accountant (AAT) Level 3 Apprenticeship Webinar
PPD continues to promote development opportunities for University staff.
A webinar has been arranged to provide information on the Assistant Accountant (AAT) Level 3 Apprenticeship and will be presented by West Suffolk College, in conjunction with the Finance Division who will deliver this apprenticeship.
As well as ensuring full competency as an Assistant Accountant, this standard provides the foundation for progression into a number of career paths in the Accounting sector, including: Audit Trainee, Corporate Recovery Analyst, Credit Controller or Tax Accountant.
The purpose of the webinar will be to provide you with an overview of the programme, and give you the opportunity to ask any questions.
Target audience
- University staff interested in undertaking an Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship
- University Managers of interested staff or recruiting to post
- Target Group - This course is open to all where participants roles include: Assistant Accountant, Trainee Accounting Technician, Accounts Clerk, Cashier Finance Assistant, Purchase Ledger Clerk, Sales Ledger Clerk.
